Spring Creek

This Winter POark home was designed to feel both grounded and elevated in its alpine setting while opening generously to light and view. The clients envisioned a retreat that would soften the transition between rugged Colorado terrain and refined mountain living. Natural stone, warm timber, and expansive glazing work together to blur the line between inside and out, while a considered material palette nods to the surrounding forest without imitating it. The result is a home that feels modern in spirit, mountain in soul.

Designed Around the Landscape

Positioned to capture uninterrupted views of the surrounding pines and the creek below, the home's massing steps with the natural grade rather than fighting it. Floor-to-ceiling glass along the main living spaces draws the landscape inward, while a covered outdoor living area extends the home's footprint into the trees.

From first sketch to final walkthrough, Spring Creek was shaped by close collaboration between the design team and homeowners shared commitment to getting the details right, from sight lines to material texture. The result reflects not just a design brief, but a relationship built on trust.
