A Closer Look at Casa Miradora on Sandow Design TV

06.05.2026

Designed for a multi-generational family, Casa Miradora balances architectural expression with everyday comfort. The home's layered spaces create opportunities for connection while providing privacy and retreat, resulting in a residence that feels both dynamic and welcoming. Recognized with a Luxe RED Award for its exterior architecture, the home is a thoughtful response to one of the site's greatest challenges: a steep hillside lot that inspired a unique split-level design. Rather than working against the terrain, the architecture embraces it, creating a residence that feels both grounded in its setting and striking in its form. As a Breckenridge architecture project shaped by its landscape and the lifestyle of its owners, Casa Miradora reflects our commitment to creating homes that are enduring, contextual, and tailored to the way our clients live.

Perched on a steep hillside in Breckenridge, Colorado, Casa Miradora was designed to embrace the experience of mountain living at every level. Expansive glazing, a split-level layout, and a sculptural glass stairwell work together to frame panoramic views, draw in natural light, and create a seamless connection to the surrounding landscape. Originally envisioned for a multi-generational family, the 4,900-square-foot residence balances openness and gathering spaces with moments of privacy and retreat.

We are honored to have Casa Miradora featured on Sandow Design TV following its Luxe RED Award recognition. Having partnered with Luxe Interiors + Design for many years, it is especially meaningful to be recognized with RED Awards in consecutive years and to share this project with the broader design community through Design TV.
